CommHEAT is designed to help communities stay safe during extreme heat events. The app provides indoor temperature\/heat index predictions, connects family\/friends\/neighbors for mutual support, and helps locate cooling centers when you need them most. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

CommHEAT uses energy modeling to forecast changes in your home’s indoor temperature and heat index over the next 12 hours, helping you prepare in advance and take action before conditions become dangerous.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Extreme heat shouldn\u2019t be faced alone. With CommHEAT, you can build your own support network\u2014neighbors, friends, and family members\u2014and check in on one another during dangerous indoor conditions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you visit the Community page, you\u2019ll see the predicted average indoor heat index(feels like) for your community members. Click on a name to view their individual heat index (feels like) range\u2014 helping you stay informed and look out for people you care about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note:<\/strong> Right now, you don\u2019t have any community members in your group. In the email we sent you, there\u2019s a referral link you can share with neighbors, friends, or family. Once they participate and agree to connect with you in the app, they\u2019ll appear on your Community page.<\/em> <\/p>\n<\/div>
